Overview
This is the ultimate eight day romantic holiday perfectly combining the thrill of an authentic African safari with a luxurious tropical beach escape. You will spend your first four days tracking lions elephants and leopards with your private guide in the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will then fly directly from the savanna to the tropical coast of the Indian Ocean. The final four days are spent in pure relaxation at a luxury beach resort in Diani Beach where you will enjoy sunset dhow cruises fresh seafood beachfront dining and swimming in crystal clear warm waters.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to the Maasai Mara Wilderness
You will fly or drive from Nairobi into the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival at your luxury honeymoon camp you will be greeted with absolute privacy. You will enjoy an introductory evening game drive followed by a private dinner on your tent veranda listening to the sounds of the African night.

Day 2
Full Day Private Game Viewing
Your private guide will take you deep into the reserve for a full day of game viewing. You will search for the Big Five and visit the Mara River to view hippos and massive crocodiles. Because you have a private vehicle the pace is entirely yours allowing you to sit quietly and observe wildlife for as long as you wish.

Day 3
Morning Safari and Romantic Bush Dinner
You will head out early to catch the beautiful morning light and watch predators returning from their night hunts. After a relaxing afternoon at the camp you will enjoy a short evening drive that culminates in a surprise romantic bush dinner set up specifically for you beneath a lantern lit acacia tree.

Day 4
Fly from the Savanna to Diani Beach
After a final morning game drive and breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for a direct flight from the Maasai Mara to Diani Beach on the Kenya coast. You will be met at the coastal airstrip and transferred to your luxury beach resort checking into a beautiful ocean facing suite.

Day 5
Relaxation on the Pristine White Sands
Today is completely unstructured allowing you to fully relax and unwind. You can walk hand in hand along the miles of powdery white sand swim in the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean or simply lounge by the resort pool ordering tropical cocktails.

Day 6
Romantic Sunset Dhow Cruise
After spending the morning relaxing on the beach or enjoying an optional couples massage you will be taken to a traditional wooden dhow sailing boat in the late afternoon. You will sail along the coastline as the sun sets enjoying sparkling wine and spectacular views of the tropical coastline.

Day 7
Final Day of Tropical Bliss
Your final full day is yours to enjoy. You may choose to book a snorkeling excursion to the nearby marine park to swim with sea turtles and dolphins or simply enjoy your final day of uninterrupted romantic bliss at your beachfront resort.

Day 8
Departure from Diani Beach
After a final morning swim and breakfast you will check out of your resort. You will be transferred to the local airstrip for a short flight to Nairobi or Mombasa connecting seamlessly with your international flight home bringing your perfect honeymoon to a close.
