Elephant Bedroom Camp

Elephant Bedroom Camp on the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve is one of the most intimate and exclusive wildlife experiences in northern Kenya. With just 12 luxury tents, the camp provides highly personalised service and access to vast wildlife areas with far fewer guests than larger camps. The camp is named for the extraordinary elephant encounters that take place directly at and in the river adjacent to the tents. Large elephant bulls are frequent visitors, often passing within metres of the dining tent and guest tents.
