2023 — Q1

The Foundation

Nina Safaris was officially registered and licensed as a travel and safari company in Kenya. The founding team — passionate Kenya-based travel professionals with deep roots in East African tourism — identified a clear gap in the market: travellers of all budgets were underserved by impersonal, transactional tour operators. We opened our first Nairobi office, assembled our founding team of safari guides and travel consultants, and set about building the infrastructure required to deliver something genuinely better.

2023 — Q2

First Safaris and Early Growth

We launched our first fully packaged safari itineraries covering the Maasai Mara, Amboseli National Park and Lake Nakuru — Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations. Our meticulous attention to client communication, personalised pre-departure briefings and consistent follow-through on every promise quickly generated our first wave of repeat bookings and referrals. 2023 — Q4

East African Expansion

We extended our safari and tour operations beyond Kenya's borders, launching itineraries covering Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park, Tanzania's Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and Rwanda's world-renowned mountain gorilla trekking programmes. International Destinations Launch

A milestone year.
