Amboseli / Lake Nakuru / Kisumu – Kogelo Siaya/ Masai Mara (7 nights 8 days)

Day 1    Nairobi – Amboseli

0800 hours. Drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch time to relax. 1600hours. An afternoon game viewing drives. All meals and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge/ Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 2    Amboseli National Park – Shade of Kilimanjaro

Full day in Amboseli with an early morning (0630hours) and afternoon (1600hours) game viewing drives. Amboseli National Park is always dominated by the bulk of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. All meals and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge/ Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 3    Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

0730 hours. After breakfast and check out, drive via Nairobi for lunch, then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive, famous for its millions of flamingoes and many other bird species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Sarova Lion Hill lodge.

Day 4    Lake Nakuru – Kisumu (Barack Obama’s ancestral Home)

After breakfast, drive north via Kericho Tea Hotel in Kericho Town re-known for the large scale Tea farming in time for 10 o’clock tea. The scenic view of the endless green tea fields rolling over gentle hill slopes is spectacular and breath-taking. Continue to Kisumu for lunch at Imperial Hotel and after lunch drive to Siaya Kogelo village the home to American President (Barack Obama). Spend the afternoon at the home stead to see and learn more about the humble life of the late Barack Obama sr. from family members and villagers in this African village.  Return back to Kisumu arriving in the late evening for dinner and overnight at Imperial Hotel.

Day 5    Kisumu – Masai Mara

After an early breakfast drive to Masai Mara arriving for a late lunch and then a late evening game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight Mara Serena Safari Lodge/ Mara Leisure Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 6    Masai Mara Game Reserve – 7th wonder of the world

Full day spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Between the open plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate to greener pastures as the seasons change. Predators follow the wildebeest migration closely, waiting for any opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories. Optional activities at an extra fee include – a visit to a Masai village or balloon ride over the skies of the Mara plains. All meals and overnight stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge/ Mara Leisure Tented Camp.

Day 7    Nairobi

0730 hours. After breakfast and check out, drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Lunch on this day is on own arrangement. Later transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
