The Indian Ocean Beach Club is located 40 kms in clear power white sandy beaches and surrounded by swaying coconut palm gloves and magnificent old stoic baobabs. The resort, south of Kenya’s old Arab Seaport – Mombasa is adjacent to the site of the 16th century Kongo Mosque. It’s set to recreate the bygone opulence of the rich Sultans of Zanzibar.
There are three restaurants namely: Spices; which is an airy first floor restaurant, over looking the ocean that specializes in a rich exotic pot-pourri of masterpieces from the shores of the Indian Ocean. Bahari Cove; An open air, informal beach restaurant featuring shellfish and seafood ‘Swahili style’. A snack lunch menu is also available. Ocean Terrace; Al fresco styled, pool-side patio restaurant serving a tropical breakfast buffet facing the ocean.
